Devonport Regeneration Community Project
April 2009, 12 month project
As part of the Devonport Regeneration Community Project in Plymouth, our bespoke project recruited volunteer families as 'Energy Champions.'
Families particpated in an home energy audit; assessing the property type, heating methods, and building fabric as well as the occupants energy behaviour. Based on the audit, an ecological footprint was calculated and a report supplied outlining recommendations for energy saving measures and installs. Each household recieved a 'green makeover' with further research and reporting outlining money and CO2 saved following their participation in the project.
Through the positive outcomes of their involvement, the project aimed to promote energy saving behaviours and measures to the immediate and wider community.
