Renewables support for community buildings to be launched at 13th July conference

The Devon Association of Community Buildings (DACB) will be announcing its Green Hub project at their free Suppliers Conference on Wednesday 13th July at Teign Valley Community Hall, Christow, 9.30am - 4pm.

The project managed by DACB, in partnership with the Community Council for Devon and Energy Action Devon, will involve 5 training events for community buildings representatives across Devon. The events will take place in community buildings that have already benefited from renewable energy solutions. The aim is to allow participants to see the technologies in action, meet the building committees who have installed them, find out about the challenges they have encountered including funding issues, so that they can acquire the skills and understanding to develop their own effective renewable initiatives.

The 13th July event will include a workshop from 10.30 -11.30am to introduce the project and allow participants to discuss their own buildings and their challenges and opportunities.
