Everyone is invited to come and hear about the company's plans for the distribution of the £1million community fund that will be available when the wind farm starts to generate electricity, and the subsequent annual payments. You will also hear from representatives from Devon Wind Power concerning the progress of the building of the Wind Farm which is now clearly visible.
Please also become a member of the company in order to keep in touch in the future. The company is looking for individual members, those representing community groups and junior members. The directors are looking for members from a wide range of interest-groups. Membership forms are available by down-loading them from our website, www.fullabrook-cic.org, or they can be obtained at the AGM.
The company also has one vacancy for an honorary director, and if you are willing to volunteer about one evening a month to help in the practical work of judging the merits of the applications received, please either write to The Chairman, Fullabrook Wind Farm Community Interest Company, P O Box 349, Braunton EX32 2FD or call Paul Ginnings on 01271 890923 for an application form. The company would particularly welcome applications from women or those under 40 since the directors are not well represented by these groups.
