Free Expert Support for communities
EAD is pleased to be able to provide up to three days free expert support through the Energy Saving Trust's Green Communities programme.
The Green Communities programme is designed to assist community groups by offering technical and funding advice to develop projects to reduce carbon emissions. From community scale renewable energy systems to community led energy efficiency schemes. The website has extensive info and advice, and also a project support tool to help point you in the right direction.
The level of support provided is based on your project and an application form which you will need to complete. Unfortunately we will not be able to help every group who applies. EAD has four consultants who are registered to offer site assessments covering carbon saving in community buildings and pre-feasibility studies for community scale renewable energy systems.
The Energy Saving Trust has a network of expert consultants across the UK to support local groups, if you would like us to help you please let them know when you apply.
Please click here for more information on the support available and how to apply.
All applications must be made through the Energy Saving Trust, and although EAD cannot advise on your eligibility we would be glad to chat through your ideas, please call us on 01752 235 180.
