Nominations open for Devon Environmental Business awards


The DEBI 2010 Environmental Awards welcome entries from any person, business or organisation who is working towards operating in a sustainable way, doing their part to help protect Devon's beautiful environment.  This year we have four categories as well as environmental champion award:

Environmental Goods and Services For suppliers and installers of environmental products and services, such as renewable energy, energy efficiency and eco-design products that have a proven track record.  

Climate Change Innovation For businesses and organisations that have reduced their carbon impact, and have taken steps themselves to be more resilient to the effects of climate change.

Sustainable Devon Aimed at businesses, schools and communities that promote Devon through their activities as a great place to live, work, invest and visit sustainably. 

Food, Farming and Fishing For organizations in the food, farming and fishing sectors who are growing, producing or harvesting quality food and drink whilst greening their business and demonstrating their commitment to Devon. 

Environmental Champion Nominated by an individual or business this person maybe someone who commits a substantial amount o their own time and effort to their work or project, or who has done something extra special, to help a business improve its environmental credentials.  It could also be a person involved in a community, conservation or educational project that has enhanced Devon's environment.
