Private Landlords for Energy Action

A grant scheme specifically

for private landlords

 

PLEA offers grants to help landlords improve the energy efficiency of their rented properties, which includes loft and cavity wall insulation and boiler replacements and repairs.

This grant offer is currently available in specific Local Authority areas across Devon.  Private sector landlords with a rented property or properties which are residentially occupied or available for residential occupation are eligible to apply for the grant.  Holiday lets are excluded.

The PLEA scheme is currently running in East Devon, Exeter, Mid Devon, *South Hams and West Devon.

Application guidance:

  • Landlord to complete and return the PLEA application form, including a copy of the tenancy agreement (if occupied).  Please click on your relevant Local Authority below to access your application form.
  • On reciept, the landlord will receive a grant approval letter, authorising work to proceed, informing them of how much funding has been allocated and what steps to follow.

 

!  Please note:  Funding is limited and is allocated on a first come first served basis.  Energy Action Devon is unable to provide funding for any works which have been carried out prior to your application to the PLEA grant scheme.
